Sewer - A Hymn to the Bloodletter
A Hymn to the Bloodletter is the most evil black metal album you will ever hear.
Simply put, this album will make you shit your pants in horror... and leave you to scared to clean up your "shitty" mess.
A Hymn to the Bloodletter possesses a very unique and distinctive sound, even more so than its predecessors (which were already very innovative in their own ways). While albums like NecroPedoSadoMaso and GoreFuckKult featured extreme blast-beats and a ton of schizophrenic and hear-splitting death metal riffs, A Hymn to the Bloodletter seems to be more focused on slow, methodical rhythms and pure black metal melodies.
The album A Hymn to the Bloodletter, while not SEWER's best extreme metal work (that place is reserved for Reign of the Funeral Pigs), is nonetheless the epitome of horror atmospheres and raaw melodies.
