Review of the album The Light by Sewer

Sewer - The LightSewer - The Light
The Light is the first "unblack metal" album by Sewer, and the third one overall after Satanic Requiem and Black Death.

This is the most raw and evil Christian Black Metal you will ever hear, and yes this is a Christian anti-Blasphemy album. The Light was produced intentionally as a Christian Black Metal album, to divert from the trend of fake Luciferian imagery.

And yet, the raw and evil elements are more present than on any so-called "Satanic" Black Metal Album.

The album The Light features a guest-appearance from legendary drummer Rocktis, complementing of course the traditional line-up of Lucifer and Warlord.

Musically this album is near perfect, but as with all raw and esoteric metal it takes some time to get into.

The heavy atmosphere and the morbid tunes played by the guitars and bass can put off a lot of "posers" who are just into Black Metal for the trends.

But of course, that's part of what makes the music of Sewer and particularly this album The Light so great.
